Investing in sustainability is a conscious choice for our hotel. We have achieved the Level 2 Sustainability Label and are taking our first steps toward sustainable transformation by reviewing our strategy and planning concrete actions.
Every day, we work to reduce our environmental impact – also in our kitchen. By favoring regional and seasonal products, we support local excellence in South Tyrol and enhance our territory – from the Dolomites to the valleys.
We monitor our energy, water, and CO₂ consumption with the aim of reducing it and already use renewable energy sources in part. We avoid cleaning products with harmful substances whenever possible, focus on waste reduction, and prevent food waste.
We also encourage our guests to act responsibly. Every action, big or small, is a step toward a more sustainable future.

Our Values

Eco-friendly arrival
Sustainable mobility means traveling in an environmentally friendly, safe, and comfortable way – for example by train. This allows for a relaxed journey without traffic, with plenty of space and beautiful views. From the train stations in Bolzano and Bressanone, you can easily reach Val Gardena with your free GuestCard.

Cleaning without harmful chemicals
We are committed to responsible daily cleaning, making greater use of certified Ecolabel products, which help reduce harmful substances and limit packaging waste.

We favor regional ingredients
Our cuisine focuses on sustainability, offering a buffet rich in homemade delicacies as well as specialties from regional suppliers and local farms. A large part of our dried pasta is produced in-house to ensure freshness and quality.
We consciously choose ingredients from South Tyrol such as milk, apples, and apple juice to reduce transport distances and emissions. The eggs served at our buffet are organic and come from a local producer, while our own honey adds its authentic flavor to every dish.
For us, quality and respect for the environment go hand in hand – for a genuine and sustainable culinary experience.

Our carefully selected wines
Most of the wines on our wine list come from South Tyrol – the perfect complement to enjoyable evenings in a cozy atmosphere.

Protecting water resources
To help preserve the precious resource water, we kindly ask you to reuse your towels. In your bathroom you will find a small message:
“Use me again tomorrow – just like at home.”

Waste reduction and recycling
We avoid single-use packaging and plastic as much as possible. Shampoo and soap are provided in refillable dispensers – a conscious choice to reduce waste and plastic consumption.
We kindly invite you to bring your own bath slippers. If truly needed, we will gladly provide them. This helps us reduce single-use products and unnecessary waste. Thank you for your valuable support.

Eco-friendly heating and energy
Thanks to our photovoltaic system, we generate part of our energy ourselves – and electric cars can be charged directly at our hotel.
Most of our lighting has been converted to energy-saving LED technology. All the energy we use comes 100% from renewable sources.
